What does YAB do?A major component of our program is our Youth Advisory Board. YAB is a group of dedicated YVC volunteers who are interested in further serving their community and the YVC program. This is done by helping recruit volunteers, plan and implement projects, fundraising, submit grant proposals, marketing, and more!
As a member of YAB you will gain lifelong skills, make new friends, learn more about our community, accumulate volunteer hours and have fun! Many of our members also end up working for our city summer programming or receive school acceptance letters and job offers shortly after serving with our program. YAB is a great way to bulk up your resume and get required volunteer service done in an easy and fun way!
